Some started with a simple thought like a gigantic letter or pop can tower. Come on guys, push yourselfs! After I showed them some examples from my last years 7th and 8th graders (yes 7th and 8th graders!) they were motivated to push themselves into more complicated forms. I believe next year we will push ourselves even further and create functional art out of pop cans, WHAO! (more photos to come!)
Welcome parents, students, teachers, and friends! This blog will allow you to view the creations, events, news, and other adventures taking place in the art classroom!!

POP CAN ART
Who would have thought, anything is possible with a pop can! I actually received this lesson from an elementary school teacher, pretty surprising. Sharp metal, hot glue, sharp cutting tools could equal a dangerous mess. But I figure if elementary students can do it, we can!
